Knit Picks is a curated secondhand clothing shop. After finding massive success on Instagram during the pandemic, KnitPicks founder Payton reached out to Grey & Gold Creative for help creating the company’s first brand identity. The goal of this project was to help Knit Picks stand out from other secondhand shops online through strategic positioning and unique design.
First, Grey & Gold Creative conducted detailed research into the market to help Knit Picks define its audience, competitive advantage, and brand statements. From there, we analyzed Payton’s personal style, Knit Picks’ existing audience, and parallel brands to create something completely new: a fun, free spirited, and retro-inspired brand design. We then supported the brand’s activation through illustrations, print collateral, and digital templates.
